This weekend, while Boo was out and I was home alone, I flipped through the channels (which I rarely do) to find something to watch. ‘Sex and the City’ the movie was on and I looked no further.
I’m definitely one of those people who like to buy or obtain new things but often never use them.
“Wait.” “Hold on.” “Hurry up.” I’m sure I’m not the only one who has heard these and a few more throughout their lifetime. All suggesting that there was a time where we did not want to wait for something. But what if we’ve been onto something this entire time?
If you’ve been following for a while—or even a little bit—you’ll know that I’ve been working out since January. I’ve stuck to it since and have gotten a pretty good hang of it, I’d say. So much so that over the past few months, I’ve come up with a list of the things that are essential to me and my workouts and may help those of you who are exploring working out or need a refresher course.
Not to toot my own horn but I never felt like I was “raised” the same as my peers. I don’t mean I didn’t have a childhood because I did. A pretty good one at that. But when it came to my pre-teen and teen years, there wasn’t much babying going on.
So, I wanted to stop in to let you in on a little not-so-secret secret.
Growing up is not easy. “It’ll be fun”, they said. “Enjoy it while you can”, they said. This is the hardest thing I’ve ever done ever and I don’t feel like I’m getting any better at it.
About two years ago, the funniest little kid hit the Vine scene with this 7-second video and it’s been my motto ever since. I’m sure I’m not alone in saying that.
