If you’ve been following for a while—or even a little bit—you’ll know that I’ve been working out since January. I’ve stuck to it since and have gotten a pretty good hang of it, I’d say. So much so that over the past few months, I’ve come up with a list of the things that are essential to me and my workouts and may help those of you who are exploring working out or need a refresher course.

As I got older and learned about the confirmed and unconfirmed dangers of the main ingredient in most deodorants, aluminum, I decided I wanted to make informed decisions about something that I was applying to my body every single day.

I have always struggled with having a pessimistic mindset and I’m still working on improving it. Time after time of being disappointed or things not going the way I imagined them to go is the reason I had chosen to see things pessimistically by default. Recently I’ve challenged myself to change the way I view things, which include people and situations.
