After making a trip home for over a month, I’ve not only fell into lesser than healthy habits, I’ve lost muscle and pretty sure put on some body fat. Now that I’m back, I’m ready to continue my fitness journey.
If you’ve been following for a while—or even a little bit—you’ll know that I’ve been working out since January. I’ve stuck to it since and have gotten a pretty good hang of it, I’d say. So much so that over the past few months, I’ve come up with a list of the things that are essential to me and my workouts and may help those of you who are exploring working out or need a refresher course.
Man, it’s already April! I’m sure that’s what we are all thinking and I can’t even blame you. The year is literally flying by and what makes it worse is the mild winter we had. You’re probably thinking, “what does a mild winter have to do with anything”, right? Well, I legit feel like the change of season was so subtle that we never really got out of one and went into another. All winter long there were 60+ degree Fahrenheit weather days, which made it feel like fall was still lingering and spring was around the corner. There was no miserably cold weather to make us wish the months would go faster because it’s been overarchingly warm since last April.
Of course, I’m subscribed to Cassie’s YouTube channel because I am obsessed with YouTube. She recently posted this video and I love that she poses questions for her viewers to answer. I wanted to take the challenge on and share it with you. Watch the video and answer the questions and when you’re done, you can scroll down and read my answers.
“The way you choose to see the world creates the world we see.”
I have always struggled with having a pessimistic mindset and I’m still working on improving it. Recently I’ve challenged myself to change the way I view things, which include people and situations.
