I’ve been natural for about four years now. While I am no professional and am still learning about my hair, there are some things that I’ve noticed.
This post is a struggle post. In more ways than one. I promised you guys two post a week and that’s been difficult to keep that up, if I’m being honest. What do you want to hear/learn/read about? Drop your ideas and suggestions in the comments. Please!
When I signed on the dotted line, accepting a full-time position, I was almost instantly in a panic. I was worried about what my co-workers would think about something that I can’t change: my natural hair.
For my birthday, I decided to show off and get acrylic tips. It sounded like a good idea at the time and, honestly, I don’t regret it. I had a look in mind and because I usually keep my nails super short, I needed a boost to achieve it.
I’ve been completely natural for almost three years now, which means it’s been three years that I’ve actually payed attention to and cared for my hair. I am still learning so much about the process and up until recently, I used to use the same routine all year-round. Now, there is absolutely nothing wrong with doing that. I repeat: there is nothing wrong with using your tried and true natural hair routine all year-round.
