Recently I came across this article and clicked on it hoping to learn some hair tips and tricks. I had legit hope for this article only to find that 70% of the “tips” from professional hairstylists were actually pretty… unhelpful. So much so that I feel like I have to “respond” in my own post.

Hope you all had a wonderful Christmas! This was the first year I celebrated Christmas away from my family and I thought it would be harder than it actually was. I thought I’d be all mopey and sad, but I put my big girl pants on and enjoyed myself.
So, I’ve seen these types of videos all over YouTube and thought I’d want to join the party… but over here, of course, on my blog. I was lucky enough to get some pretty awesome gifts although I asked for nothing this year. So, without further ado, here’s what I got for Christmas this year.
I’m sure all of you are aware of the awesome little feature on Facebook. You know, the one that time-machines you back to one, two, or five years ago. I’m sure the intentions were good when the Facebook experts sat around and came up with that idea and that’s fine. While many were dressing up for Halloween this year, I had the opposite planned. Halloween is fun and all, but I never really have the desire to dress up or go to parties. Call me boring if you want (I’d probably agree). I’ve been wanting to go apple picking for months and not just to go apple picking, I wanted to stock up on Fuji apples. Fuji apples are sweet and juicy, which make them great for my favorite apple-carrot-lemon-ginger juice. Best part is, October is their prime.
