When I signed on the dotted line, accepting a full-time position, I was almost instantly in a panic. I was worried about what my co-workers would think about something that I can’t change: my natural hair.
Ever since my mom was in charge of making sure I was clean, clothed, and fed, I’ve been using Secret as my go-to deodorant. As I got older and learned about the confirmed and unconfirmed dangers of the main ingredient in most deodorants, aluminum, I decided I wanted to make informed decisions about something that I was applying to my body every single day.
Hope you all had a wonderful Christmas! This was the first year I celebrated Christmas away from my family and I thought it would be harder than it actually was. I thought I’d be all mopey and sad, but I put my big girl pants on and enjoyed myself.
So, I’ve seen these types of videos all over YouTube and thought I’d want to join the party… but over here, of course, on my blog. I was lucky enough to get some pretty awesome gifts although I asked for nothing this year. So, without further ado, here’s what I got for Christmas this year.
I’ve been completely natural for almost three years now, which means it’s been three years that I’ve actually payed attention to and cared for my hair. I repeat: there is nothing wrong with using your tried and true natural hair routine all year-round.
