I’ve been completely natural for almost three years now, which means it’s been three years that I’ve actually payed attention to and cared for my hair. I am still learning so much about the process and up until recently, I used to use the same routine all year-round. Now, there is absolutely nothing wrong with doing that. I repeat: there is nothing wrong with using your tried and true natural hair routine all year-round.
“The way you choose to see the world creates the world we see.”
I have always struggled with having a pessimistic mindset and I’m still working on improving it. Time after time of being disappointed or things not going the way I imagined them to go is the reason I had chosen to see things pessimistically by default. Recently I’ve challenged myself to change the way I view things, which include people and situations.
While many were dressing up for Halloween this year, I had the opposite planned. Halloween is fun and all, but I never really have the desire to dress up or go to parties. Call me boring if you want (I’d probably agree). I’ve been wanting to go apple picking for months and not just to go apple picking, I wanted to stock up on Fuji apples. Fuji apples are sweet and juicy, which make them great for my favorite apple-carrot-lemon-ginger juice. Best part is, October is their prime.
